Kris Aquino To Be Part of a Hollywood Movie
MANILA – When one door closes, another one opens. This saying is especially true for Kris Aquino who scored a huge break after experiencing a year of rejections. In an Instagram post on Sunday, Aquino shared how a part of her spirit broke when she lost two shows “because hiring an Aquino for TV was a political risk not worth taking.” However, things turned around for the better when she got a call from Tony and Grammy award winning Broadway producer Jhett Tolentino, who contacted her last March 23. “He was helping a Filipino-Chinese-American agent friend of his reach me to ask if I'd want to audition for a big Hollywood studio movie about to start filming. The pressure was I had to submit my reel in 72 hours,” Aquino wrote in the caption.
